Hannah + Kyle - Newcastle Flower Market Wedding
"Thank you again for giving us the best photos and thank you for being you. Everyone from the wedding told me how comfortable you made everyone feel".
Organising a wedding in the middle of a global pandemic.... should be easy right?
Like thousands of other couples across Australia, Hannah & Kyle were hit pretty hard by the pandemic forcing their wedding to be rescheduled. But like many other Aussies, they took it head-on and adapted to the ever-changing conditions. Not even the threat of rain could dampen their spirits on their wedding day.
I met this awesome, chilled-out couple and their daughter Billie a few months prior for their engagement/family shoot. We spent the afternoon walking around Newcastle chasing the light, and a very quick toddler. The session flew by so fast, as we chatted like old friends catching up after a time apart. I knew their wedding day was going to be just as fun and relaxed.
Hannah & Kyle chose the beautiful Newcastle Food and Flower Market as a perfect garden wedding venue for their elopement wedding. Only recently offering the space as an elopement venue, the greenhouse made for a stunning and lush backdrop for their special day. Their closest family and friends joined them for their intimate ceremony, with little Billie stealing the show :)
The space at the Newcastle Food and Flower Market made for a beautiful location for couple portraits, followed by bridal party photos in and around the venue. They then followed up with their reception at the Stag and Hunter in Mayfield, along with good food and a few drinks.
Hannah & Kyle wanted a simple but meaningful day to celebrate their wedding, and I think they delivered. It was an honor to be their photographer for their Newcastle wedding, and to witness their beautiful family join together as one.
Thanks so much for having me Hannah & Kyle <3
