Many of you may not know this, but I am a huge outdoors gal and love camping. I remember packing up the 4WD as a kid, along with the camper trailer and travelling around to see Australia. Sometimes we would be treated with a camping spot that came with onsite toilets, or sometimes we would be handed a shovel and a roll of toilet paper. "Roughing it builds character" my dad always said. And I have to agree with him, although many years later :)
What's great about camping, as the moment you set foot on site, all your worries and stresses seem to fade away. As if relaxation is the only thing you need to do. Connect with nature, hear the birds, and relax by the campfire. And a wedding at Riverwood Downs is no different.
Riverwood Downs is a beautiful 750-acre property set on the foothills of Barrington Tops, that is perfect for a simple weekend away, or a relaxed and intimate wedding. Tenielle and Hayden chose this location for their elopement as it really provided the relaxed vibe they were going for along with a country/bush setting. Tenielle opted to create her own bouquets, and decorate the venue herself which looked amazing! Riverwood Downs provides a great canvas for couples to put their own personal touch on.
The whole day was so laid back, especially with Tenielle & Hayden choosing an 11 am ceremony time. This allowed us plenty of time to wander around the property for photos, and stroll on into the reception for a late lunch. They were able to spend so much more quality time with their family and friends as they had the rest of the afternoon to enjoy their company.
It was such a beautiful day, and a perfect way to celebrate Tenielle & Hayden. An awesome, laidback couple who are soon to be incredible parents. Thanks so much again for choosing me to be a part of your day, and I'm so excited for you and the next chapter of your lives xo
